The Idaho State Historical Society has a newspaper collection that is accessible in person as well as through interlibrary loan. There is a large collection of microfilmed newspapers available at the Eli M. Obler library (Idaho State University's Library) and a smaller collection at Marshall Public Library both located in Pocatello Idaho.

Thomas Collier, a
brother of Conductor C.C. Collier of this city, was instantly killed Thursday
morning between Pocatello and American Falls, when he was struck while walking
down the railroad track by train No 19, the westbound passenger.
Engineer
Derham and Fireman Rhodes state that the engine whistle was sounded several
times, but evidently Collier did not hear it. Conductor W.A. Fife was in charge
of the train, and took the body to American Falls, where it was taken in charge
by the coroner. A full investigation of the unfortunate occurrence will be made
by the railroad company official.
Collier lived near Igo, a station near
where he was killed. His brother rund on the third division and has not yet bee
located.
